I suggested to Pook that the algorithm be changed a bit to give voobs better ranks. Looks like something goofed up during the update /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
I went in there and found/fixed it though, so everything is back to normal.
For reference, before this change all players who were 1yr old or younger got a -15 modifier to their elo all the time. This made 11month voobs have ranks that were lower than they should be.
Now the -15 is applied on a ramp; brand new newbies are -15, 6month newbies are -7.5, and 1month newbies are -1ish.

I think it should be adjusted the other way tiger, give the voobs a slightly worse rank.
