Porting Dx7 forward IS feasible AND puts back in place what Dx9 broke AND will not require a re-write of everything. Having ships stuttering/jumping around in front of you while your inputs are uncontrollable, is what's preposterous.

What you are seeing is djole's ping from europe, babelfish can be similar under certain circumstances. I don't see the problem here, my inputs are controllable.

I am at your complete disposal.

The first thing we need to do is decide on a communication method for the development efforts. Discord?

Need me to dust off my palettes and come up with a new GUI?

Glad to see this community still thriving!

Newtype, I might need a new .MDL that will enable a user to select their Steam clan in-game so that we can allow tags. Still researching on how to get the primary clan from steam directly, it's not super obvious from the SDK docs.

That is not internet lag. Trust me on this one, I know what I'm talking about.

If you want to see for yourself, I can send you the two builds where one does this and the other doesn't.

Is this a critical issue? I've played hundreds of hours, I get kills, and the game begins, middles, and ends without too much issue.

Yes.

What you have done or are doing is irrelevant. Finding broken things means you have to actually look for what is broken. If you wish, I can send you the two clients and you can see for yourself. This is a timing issue, not a "does my mouse feel OK issue".

Senor NoirSol, sent you a PM. I'm going to try to find my archived footage that I had used for the existing training videos, and try to remember what login I used to the AllegTraining youtube page. I might not have either, but I'll have a look.

Edit: Found the AllegTraining login. PM'd.
