I am a computer systems engineer so all the easy stuff has been done - all firewalls down etc. I even went in and forced open those ports on my router even though the firewall is shut off. I am running Windows 10 if that helps. Searching help shows one other windows 10 person with this issue and his was fixed by opening ports but mine is not. Can you see any attempts to join lobby by miner719?

Thanks!

Since you are saying you can't connect to lobby I am assuming you can at least start Allegiance? For Windows 10 you have to install DirectPlay (in Turn Windows features on or off -> Legacy Components). I don't think the game will even start without it installed but can't remember for sure.

Try switching UPnP on within router settings or even try off if turned on (unlikely to help if no firewall active, but maybe router is acting strange). If you really want to eliminate the router as being the source of the issue and simplify things, try plugging directly into modem. If you have another computer on the network, does it work on other systems?

THATS IT! Thanks. Seems odd this answer was so hard to find.

Direct play pops up when you do a full install of Allegiance from Scratch. First run ask you if you want to install it and you must say yes. You probably just missed that step during the installation.

Glad you found it.
