Are you allowed to carry your gun during a public event, like an NFL game?
Yes I know, gun owners live longer than car owners, because they use their gun on daily basis to get to work...

The history of open-source Allegiance is paved with the bodies of dead code branches, forum flame wars, and personal vendettas. But a community remains because people still love the game.
In my home town, we could legally go into a bank with an unconcealed gun, but it would obviously make them uncomfortable, so we just didn't.
They are something you definitely want to have on hand in some areas, and rifles are not really appropriate for general self-defense.
This isn't the case everywhere, of course, but where we lived, there were transplanted grizzly bears that WILL kill you (and had killed one of our neighbors) so it's something we always kept available, especially on hikes.
That neighbor btw, didn't believe in using or owning guns, and got killed right in his own home by the grizzly.

I'm not sure what the best way to manage firearms would be in densely populated areas, I've always made a point of avoiding cities unless absolutely necessary for business.pkk wrote:QUOTE (pkk @ Nov 28 2015, 07:03 PM) Grizzlies are the biggest threat in Texas or highly populated areas...![]()
At least in the smaller towns you get to know all the crazy/irresponsible folks to look out for

Basically, for those of you who can't figure out what HSharp just demonstrated, the NFL (being a for-profit capitalist blah blah blah) has done the thing that most people expect the government to do:
"Don't carry guns at our stadium I mean my god then you'd shoot people and that would be bad."
"Don't carry guns at our stadium I mean my god then you'd shoot people and that would be bad."

Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.
