If this post isn't a Troll, and you really are disbanding your squad, then maybe you will understand why I was giving you so much grief. The current player base doesn't support more than 4 squads. He said she said circumstantial evidence suggested you made a squad because of your own ego, not because it was for the greater good.

Over the years I have come to the understanding that you would really like to have a squad of your own. To lead, to lead to victory, to have and enjoy the joy and comradery of bringing a team to the best of their ability. Don't give up the dream. There is however no shortcut to excellence or success. You cannot inveigle, entreat, promise, whine or mildly manipulate people into a squad. They have to come willingly, bringing their desire for excellence to the squad. They have to want to play with you. They have to want to be around you when you play, be it for your charisma, your sense of fair play, humor, encouraging leadership or whatever that undefinable thing is that makes people want to be around you.

Hopefully, our player base will increase. It is within the realm of possibility, stranger things have happened. Play more allegiance, and these new players will get to know you. If you change yourself to have the leadership, sportsmanship, fairness and dare I say it in allegiance, gentleness that is sometimes needed to bring new players into their own skills, you will over time, accrue a following of players who will then perhaps let you form a squad in a more organic fashion.

I want a 50ft sailboat but I don't expect someone else to give me one.

If he disbandes his squad AGAIN without any fight or effort put into it except picking the squads name theh he didn't deserve to be a SL in the first place.

How about we assume 'my squad will be there' is the troll and 'I release my squad' is the truth? I think this explanation fits better with the historical facts.

We've bent over backwards trying to accommodate this doubly ill-conceived notion of a) a fifth squad b) lead by MW. Let's just let it go and move on.

I have no problem with @Iron being a squad.

I am more upset that XEXY is likely to have two weeks in a row without a SG.

I have no problem with the platonic concept of @Iron being a squad and doing the things that squads do, such as field an actual roster, regularly scheduling games in the OC, and overall trying to make an attempt at being taken seriously as a bona fide squad.

But the @Iron that exists in actual reality does none of those things. The @Iron that exists was impetuously formed in a fit of pique two months ago and since then has done nothing to distinguish itself from being a low-quality troll attempt.

It's one thing to say, "these are the pilots who have sworn a blood oath that they will be there on Sunday, and these four say they are likely, so I am banking on at least two of them to show ...". It's another thing to troll in public, and privately say "yeah my pilots will be there", and just expect us to take your word for it.

So yeah, I guess I do have a problem with @Iron being a squad.

There should be no problems if the bye squad shows up 10 so those that should@ve played vs @Iron play vs bye.

Except that the bye week squad should NOT be expected to show up, just to clean up a potential @Iron mess.

Bye week means you get the week off, not "well, if @Iron actually doesn't show up..."

Iron isnt even active in the OC. They are formed for two months(?) and played 2 games?! This looks like a joke to me.
