Agreed, and I understand that. I'm not saying you did anything wrong, I'm just trying to point out what I was hoping for when I picked you which is different than what I got. If you were actually trying to narrow down where you failed, you should focus more on the game and less on who you picked. Instead of playing the passive aggressive blame game maybe ponder why you didn't buy bombers anytime before the enemy got to adv tech.

I didn't know his tele and exp were in that sector until I pushed. Had I known I wouldn't have bothered.

When I saw the exp go up I thought, well, at least I made him buy bombers, that's 5k to put him 10k in the hole at least, plus we can go for miners while they bomb. My men were under orders not to bother defending it, even when we had adv tech up (but some people just don't listen).

I somewhat suspected that P1 wouldn't buy bombers though, first because he was rix exp, second because P1 much rather prefers buying bombers on his own terms, he doesn't like to be pushed into buying bombers as a reactionary move.

Well it was too easy to defend cash, might as well make them waste time having to try bombing repeatedly.

At what point did I blame you for anything? I picked you thinking you would tell me when I was doing something stupid. Very shortly afterwords you made it clear to me that you just wanted to whore. Had I known that's all you were going to do I wouldn't have picked you so highly. It's not your fault that we lost any more than it's Vogue's fault that we lost. It's my fault that we lost, but if there was a single pick (or even two) that I feel I got wrong, it was 2nd and 3rd picking you and alaskan. It's not blame, it's not passive-aggressive, it's the flat out truth. One of the things I like about having Vogue and Thallium on my teams is they very often act like a repeater for things I say. If I tell people to do something, they'll then keep harping on "why aren't you guys here?" I picked you two hoping that you'd do that. You didn't. That's not why we lost, but had I known now that you two were going to go off into your own mumble channel to listen to music I probably wouldn't have picked you guys so soon.

But if you want to know more about what I $#@!ed up, here it is:

1) I didn't organize the miner offense teleports better. We should have had 6 figs easily on their miners before they went to the op. That alone probably could have won us the game.

2) I built and op and a TP before gtting my tech. I should have held on to the money to make sure we had ints up as soon as possible and THEN taken map.

3) I didn't get bbrs out fast enough. If I had saved the money from the second wave of cons, we would have been able to int bomb an IC sup team, giving us the chance to take the map back.

Some speculative things I wish I'd done differently in the opener:

I wish I'd reacted to them being bot sooner and just taken Drizzo's advice that "there's no such thing as a bad U rock," planted my TP on that u rock high, and put my op at the near choke. Then we could have much more easily contested their TP pushing 3 sectors and much more quickly taken the far choke. If the TP had planted on the near sector I would've had plenty of money to just bomb it asap when Cashto couldn't react and maybe even roll the bbr to low and shove him off the map entirely.

I $#@!ed up a lot that game and generally have been a lot more timid in my commanding lately and my record is suffering because of it.
