-Driz employs typical pre-game trolling to ruffle some feathers
-They put an op next to our home and attempt to bomb rush us
-While the op pushes we sneak and kill an opening miner
-We get a fast expansion out before they undock their first bomber
-They bomb our home twice, the second run succeeding on killing the garrison
-We get mini2 ints up and take a choke that gives us access to every sector they could mine
-We mine for hvy ints while shutting down their econ one miner at a time
-They try to bomb into mg2 hvy ints
-We get HTTs up and cap ALL THE THINGS

It was a good game, well played.
@Iron are a few good pilots away from having a decent roster.
Hope you guys stick around for a long time and provide the community with some good competitive squad games.

More seriously, Xexy got this game with some awesome early miner offense that left IRON's econ in the tank. It gave us the opportunity to not only take the map (which Giga has the advantage over IC at doing on normal settings let alone settings where IC can barely afford cons and can't get enh cons), but mine freely ourselves. The con push next to our home was overly aggressive and prevented Fedman from getting any semblance of an econ going. Even though he did manage to get our garrison, garrison for bbrs bought + 2 miners is a terrible trade for IC, especially on the money settings (.75/.85). Then Fed kept replacing his miners which was another huge mistake. I'd recommend him reading P1 Notebook 3. Finally, as fun as dissing down giga bases is, going sup as IC is a massive trap. If you'd like evidence as to why, notice that I had more kills than broodwich. IC figs are just way too easy to shoot to be effective ships.

Generally speaking I think Fedman was ill prepared for the money settings and paid the price as a result. It would've gone a lot better for him if his 11k for bbrs and 2 runs had been 2 TPs and an OP, and especially if he'd focused a bit more on miner D until he had his tech up. Instead he threw the chips on the table and all-inned on bombing, which backfired (And shouldn't even have worked the second time except that XEXY had their own $#@!ups during that run, as evidenced by Vogue's rage).

GG can't wait to play you guys again.
