Hello all,
Long time no see, I've been on off like monthly now which has been better than say the non-existent years. This game still gives me that exhilaration it did so long ago. That being said I've been working on becoming a Pirate in ED. Have any of you looked into the game? If any of you would like to keep in touch and play with me on that game post your Cmdr here.

It's a pretty decent game, although not very easy to fly with mouse I'm handling it well. Haven't crashed or anything yet. Although im not an old school vet CMDR name is :Subtilizer . Maybe adding a couple more names might increase activity.

I played a few and I'm already bored.

Gfx and sounds are the only good things in this game.

Gameplay is close to inexistant:
navigation is clumsy and a huge time sink (come on, it's in the future with high tech space ships and hyperspace and whatnot but there is no autopilot and navigation computers, it's all manual ?! what a joke)combat is very basic and repetitivetrade/missions thing is very shallow
The UI is out dated (it's a PC only game but you can't use the mouse to click and interact with the main UI...).

It's not worth the price, not yet. May be in a year when they'll have finished it.

my opinion: they have built the core/foundation/engine for a space sim game but that's it, it's empty. Now they need to add content and interesting gameplay.

this morning, agri - or rather his alter ego "magnificent otter" - found himself in his souped-up, twin railgun viper sat behind a wanted and unshielded hauler that was choc full of gold and tobacco

“Life,” the belgian agri observed, “is a long dialogue with imbeciles.’’
