It's a T-72, but not a new version like T-72BM (T-72B2).

The tank in the picture is from the Chechnya campaign. I don't have an actual picture of the T-72BM, nor do I pretend to know the difference between the T-72BM and a good ol' T-72.

But the report is that they were recorded on video, via hand recorder, rolling down the streets of Ukraine.
After satellite imagery showed the armor column rolling from Russian soil onto Ukranian.

Of course, the former could very well be "fabricated by the Ukranian military to discredit Russia."
And the second could be "All the major nations of the world conspiring against Russia."

Just like the moon landing could have been fabricated in a Hollywood studio.
And we could all be tubed into a gigantic battery for an AI machine race living on a post-war Earth, unable to find energy from any other source because we scorched the sun.
