Week Four pre-season got underway with Team Element riding in undefeated. Team Xexy brought their A-Game however, determined to stop that streak dead! Xexy wasn't joking around, fielding 13 to get map-choice. Spidey chose Gigacorp and Thallium went with the Dreg on map Veil. Element opened with their signature strong push up middle, staking control of middle. ZEXY was able to retreat his opening OpCon from the onslaught however. Xexy focused on exploration, quickly filling out the map while Element fortified the middle chain. Spidey opted to go Supremacy against Thallium's Expansion build. Xexy maintained eyes on Element's core systems however through Student's perimeter scouting. An initial bomber run against Xexy's garrison was repulsed hard and Xexy followed up with it's own bombers. No headway was pushed, but while Element knocked down an outpost con, Xexy quickly occupied the map perimeter and began a devestating miner hunt. Xexy pushed forward with Advanced and Luxury fighters, swaming Element's beleaguered defense still flying mini-2 Light Interceptors. The tech gap continued to grow though as Xexy pushed through a bomber run, destroying Element's forward position. They followed through with a dual-bomber approach with full turrets and a swarm of support fighters. Thallium's team could not stop the onslaught. Team Xexy pushed through the expansion and the garrison of Element. Element's final defense of their expansion high was futile. Lux Fighters, nans and 2 turreted bombers swept through and fed their kill-ratios as they cut through the last remnants of light interceptors and XEXY ended Element's win streak and their undefeated pre-season. *note: Spideycw was commanding at the onset of the game, but apparently Sinclaire took command at some point and finished it.

Sinclaire (XEXY) (Gigacorp)
def
Thallium (ELE) (Dreghklar)

gg wp spidey - definitely deserved MVP.

Elements mistake: not letting Fed comm.
It was clearing thall being in the comm chair instead of flying that lost their invencibility.

All fear spideycw, scourge of the refinery constructors, master scouter, turret gunner extraordinare and lethal tactician. Seen this sunday putting his 3 monitors and two VMs to use.

Dome, where is the justice for this blatant multi account fake newbie-ism? Where are the authorities in times like these?
