Usually the report date is so late because they let you have time to do the recruiter assistance program (like 2 or 3 weeks) and take some leave. RIP doesnt count as leave but i didn't really spend too much time working for my recruiter when i did that.SgtMajor wrote:QUOTE (SgtMajor @ Aug 4 2014, 04:15 PM) Thanks for the info, gotta see how much our commander is gonna stick us for leave even though our report date is like 30 days after graduation.
Hopefully you submitted that paperwork!
I am living in the middle of Hessen like an hour of drive from Frankfurt and probably like 2 hours from you then.
What are you interested in ? If you are interested in history like old castles i can give you some nice recommendations like the Castle of Braunfels. ( http://www.braunfels.de/sites/gensite.asp?...rt=0119&C=2 ). Or are you interested in a Zoo (there is the famous "Opel Zoo" near Frankfurt)?
Or more clubs, bars and party? (then i have no clue what is around Kaiserlautern
)

There are many ruins and castles next to the Lahn river...
I've spend the last two years in Weilburg, before I moved to Munich.
