Oh ya I died a lot.
Tried installing XP and all I got were spam ads for driver downloads. Dual-booting to Vista now! (keymaps still suck)
You died a lot even when you had your keybinds set up.

It's very possible that the few that are able to do just that (Edit the .MDL file) ARE too busy to do it.
If thousands of players can figure it out in 1999, then 20 players today should have no problem.
[15:25] <BBT_> oh, so da vinci's mona lisa isn't his work?
[15:25] <+fuh-zz> No, he simply put effort into it.
[15:25] <BBT_> are you really that retarded?

If you really want people to join the game/rejoin. Something basic as key mapping shouldn't be quite as a task as it currently is.
I could be wrong but when I play a game. I change the keys very little if at all. Maybe that is just me. I don't know, the game has a steep learning curve as it is. The key mapping doesn't help add to future players wanting to stick around. The world is "Now,shoot stuff, lets go" not "Wait, remap this? wtf why wouldn't that already be setup".
I know I am bitching. I haven't brought much to the table regarding helping the game grow or help update it. Just my 2 cents that you probably have already heard a 100 times.
