Windows Version (and Service Packs):Windows professional 64 bit, Service pack 1
Video Card (Make and Model#):Asus GTX 760
Sound Card (Make and Model#):Nvidia high definition audio
Connection Type (Dialup, Cable, DSL, other):DSL
Modem/Router (Make and Model#):Sitecom WLM-5600V1001
Internet Service Provider(company name):Telecom Italia
Location(State/Province/Locality, and Country):Trieste,Italy
Installed Mods:Metz's texture pack

Make and Version of firewall: Windows firewall (Deactivated)
Make and version of anti-virus: AVG 2014 free edition ( already removed by my in attempts to fix the problem).

Problem Encountered at Step #: (read the "What Should Happen" for this step#): I cannot reach step 1. Once I double click on Allegiance 1.2 icon and click " Yes" a windows error pops up saying "ACSS Launcher stopped working "
Which Program (Community Security System/Allegiance):ACSS
What Error Message:ACSS Launcher stopped working
Comments (What you tried, description, etc):I already deleted the antivurus, then I discovered under, control panel, appllications and functionalities that I had many versions of microsoft Net framework installed. I deleted all of them and removed Allegiance 1.2. reinstalled alleg with no luck, same error.

...<your comments here>...
I have no idea of what the cause may be...
Any ideas?
p.s I'll post dropbox links of the images of the error, once I get it setup.

(You can also see what I have installed).

Update:
I can force Allegiance.EXE to launch, but of course i'm not able to join the lobby.
Update 2: Ran a full scan with AVG, no viruses found.
But another program in pc suddenly stopped working, so it's not related to allegiance at all.
Will run repair install and update here.
Update 3: Ran a system file check under command promt, no violations detected.

The issue has been fixed.
I needed to install the windows updates trough the control panel section, instead of applying them during shutdown.
You might wanna bump this, so that whoever runs in to this error can do what iIhave done?
