After a couple years of allegiance, listening the same over and over again i decided to start modding some sounds, its not a big deal, just takes a bit of time and patience wich i dont have :D

Customized Sounds

So far the list of sounds modded includes
mini and gat 1/2/3
cloak, decloak
welcome home
boundary alarm (less annoying)
medium missile launch (still content with quickfire sound, not changing it)
TF bomber anti base cannon (sacrilege!)

Haven't played around with sound in allegiance too much besides adding the drac inbase sounds to soundef.

Can you remove the sound of boosters?

Yep. It helps if you've converted them to .wav's, that way you can listen to them and see which one to take out. (just play the .wav and if it's a booster sound take both the .ogg and the .wav out)

yeah basically open the booster.ogg file with audacity (just example) and silence the whole thing and save it again, as in it being a blank ogg file. just removing makes alleg crash i think.
