Phoenix avd figs with vulcan vs tf hvy ints, fun. Had laser-turret bombers too and should have used them, but it was 3v3 for a lot of the game. I think though it was just one of those games where both sides get avd tech and it's hard to get past. The op at ~5k from our sup was probably the most dm fun, though, with the bombing and counter bombing and dm and counter dm, etc. A bomber got that sup about a split second before dying.

I had some good players, frobozz and gigas were pros, as was Vort who solo bombed vs hvyints around the map. Bownok was a bit late but still good. Robihunn was good also. You had decent players. I was always worried you would HTT, but you only got my 1st garrison.

Also tac was off lol. I probably still would have gone for sup+trans. Should have gone for attack drones, though that is real cheesy in a small game, and I probably would stil fail with them.

Good game, you did a good job, I made a ton of mistakes as usual lol, had a bomber at an op with hunters armed, had to rip out, figbees with no ltboost, fail at expanding, etc. I think I did ok for the first half of the game, with tech and expanding. Was fun.

edit: spelling fails, etc

Its not your job as a commander to end the game. Its your job as a commander to tell your team how.

I once had a 5 hour game, back in the day. I forgot the exact factions, but we were playing Hi-Higher and had the enemy team locked down to 3 sectors. They had a garrison and 2 tech bases.

We had 3 garrisons, something like 3 exp's, 2 tacs, 3 sups, and every other sector locked down. We had SB's, Hvys, Galv figs, the whole nine yards. Team still couldn't win. The other team just turtled with Hvy Ints and Hvy Scouts and kept hunting down our stealth bombers and just generally killing everyone.

Eventually they ran around and either bombed or capped all of our @#(!.

There comes a time in the lategame where the fruits of your efforts as a commander come to fruition, and you set the stage for the late game showdown. However, when that time comes, its the execution that matters.

I don't want that time to be a @#(!-storm of hate and schadenfreude.

Incorrect. In @ACS we teach commanders how to win games by sheer force of charisma alone.

im quite sure either sheer force of carisma or sheer knowledge of tactics work.. i think we had sheer force of perseverance and were kinda confident!

great match.. specially since there was no tac.. i think that made things much more interesting and ubber fun!
