Well you know, I think the one thing we can agree on, and it's probably why Brits and Americans have a "special relationship" - is that we both think we're better than everyone else.
It's kind of true, though.

British popular opinion of America hovers around 50% favorable. The same can be said of Canada despite Americans having around a 95% positive view of Canada.
I have to give props to France, their domestic defense industry is capable of building all their military hardware domestically and they aren't afraid to tell us to buzz off. Probably they reason they are our oldest Ally.
