FYI 10v10 on TestUS3 right now.

Terran and others reporting bad lag spikes.

Thanks for the update. By others hopefully you mean most of the server. Server testing can be difficult because is my experience at least 30% of players have issues on their end. Try and make sure that it is the whole server spiking.

That said, US1 is almost certainly the better option so try to get that tested. That host has been very stable for me in another game and their servers seem to have real good performance. I dont trust the US3 server as much.

Any games been played on the US1 server recently? Still working well? Any improvement over CSS?

Have paid for the next month but definitely want to know if this server is working well and wanted/needed within the next couple weeks.

Babel and bownok were DM'ing on it last night. I didn't ask how it was working but the pings looked good.

If I'm around I'll try to get people to test US1 this Saturday. IF that doesn't go well maybe Sunday. Will get back to you AEM.

Played a fair amount on Test 1 was stable enough for those games, DMing was significantly smoother than CSS , about 1 or 2 largish spikes in lag over the course of a couple of hours maybe, so no obviously server related issues apparent.

Test 1 has been pretty damn good. There is some dropping issues, but ping and packetloss seem pretty good.

One issue you might want to check out- twice I've joined, had massive packet loss and 250 ms ping. I quit allegiance, and relogged in with acss, and then had no packetloss and 60ish ping.
Don't know if its server or what but I thought i'd inform you. PM me if i can help gather data for you.

Dropping issues? Like losing connection to the game? Seems like that would be bad.

I suspect that if the ping info in game showed ping and packetloss right after joining, the data was not accurate. Unless you actually noticed effects of it I wouldnt be worried.

Also need to know not only if it works well, but if it works better than CSS. No point in paying for the server if CSS is working just as good.

Yes, people (including myself) lost connection to the game at times. Granted it was a 4 hour game. I noticed Bownok, P32, babel and myself the most, but others experienced it as well. Rejoining was always prompt though.

As far as the ping/packet loss- I press alt-f to look at that info.
It was definitely noticeable in game, and after relogging in the game felt and responded great, other than the 3 or so drops.

Well TestUS1 is so popular that all the main games are on it - to the point where the leaderboard has all but vanished because games aren't counted! `gu

So it must be pretty good...
