After a few months of being not quite sure who's doing what, we've got a new version of Allegiance R8 Beta on autoupdate. However I'm paranoid that I messed up a setting somewhere, so before we organise a beta testing weekend I want somebody with a typical Allegiance install to do a smoke test for me. Just log in to beta, create a game on FazDev, launch it and fly around a bit. If it crashes ( or doesn't crash), let me know here. It should only take a few minutes.

Thanks
-Turkey.

Flew around by myself for like 15 minutes (Rix CC16). No crash.

Sweet, that's all I needed. If it were going to crash from a missing artwork file or wrong artpath, it would've done so as soon as you launched.

The pop up that shows while starting a game does not match the production artwork (to be honest it is newer, production got reverted at some point to an old version). Also it was not centered properly. But no crashes. Also PCore004 was not available if that matters, newest was PCore001.

The starting game popup was taken from the most recent version of CortUI; I believe it's off-center to allow the chat to still be read but I'm not 100% on the design decisions, I just grabbed the files and included them. The core list is server-dependent, if people want other/different cores they can ask the server op (pkk I think) for them. I haven't been keeping up-to-date with the latest core dev news so I don't know what the difference is.
