Single most important thing
Spectra labs are pretty boring. With over 50 emission peaks per element, especially with Oxygen generating a continuum, yeah, it's pretty boring. But sad, no. I go on dates, perform in the band, still want to go see Gravity and Ender's Game (good novel btw) some time soon. I only check in once every few months anyway. Usually I go to 4chan and make some comment about Nazis or aliens. Or Nazi aliens.

A hero is not one who never falls, but one who gets up again and again, NEVER losing sight of one's dream!

I felt that people were wasting their time trying to revive it, and needed to just read the writing on the wall and just accept its fate. I never told people "STOP PLAYING," I just said "Alleg is dead. Stop wasting your energy and money trying to revive it." It's like a person with terminal cancer. You can pump them full of drugs and do all the medical procedures in the world to them, but nothing is gonna work. At some point, you need to just accept the reality of the matter and enjoy what time they have left.TurkeyXIII wrote:QUOTE (TurkeyXIII @ Nov 20 2013, 02:50 PM) No, after that... I don't care enough to dig up the forum drama that ensued.
Elzam/Bacon: What I don't understand is why you would even make posts, saying "Allegiance is dead, move on." The people who play do so because they enjoy it and don't want to move on, so you're not helping anybody. And if you don't want to play you don't have to. What do you have to gain from convincing pkk/TE to shut down the servers and call it a day?
I also hoped that if people realized that Alleg was dead, they might band together into a more cohesive unit and transition to a new game. I really enjoy the community aspect of Alleg, and it was the only thing I felt we could probably keep alive if the community was in agreement that Alleg was dead and there was nothing to be done about it. But the community just fragmented and slowly faded away, and now it's a little hopeless in that regard, too. I still hope to see a lot of you in Star Citizen and Elite

Yeah, wow, what a douche, expressing his desire to see the community move to a new game because I liked playing Alleg with (most of) you growing up. Reaaaaal jerk over here...Veggy wrote:QUOTE (Veggy @ Nov 21 2013, 04:34 AM) Wow bacon is still a douche..lol..
