HEY GUYS!!!! Long time no see!!!!
Although It's good to be back, I noticed somthing,
the playerbase has shrunk even further :bang:
This thread is for suggestions on how to maintain and grow the number of active players.
Here are some ideas that i came up with.

Create a better training system (not like afs(which rocks), but a better ingame, single player training system)
the one that is their, sucks. :mrtank:

Members create more download locations across the web (I'm not a computer nerd, but I've noticed that easy games to find are played/downloaded more)

A more practical Wiki, (the info on the wiki is good, but it doesn't actually help that much with gameplay)

Just a few ideas, throw out a few of your own!!!!

Some observations from a noobs point of view.

I Agree about the offline training, this is a complicated game and the current training just doesn't cover it, and it's very daunting taking a complete ineptitude online with real people.
I'm sure it's harder than it sounds but some bots for offline play in deathmatch and capture the flag would really help, this way people can play when they want and sharpen up, they'll be more confident to go online.
Also having deathmatch and capture the flag servers, as these can be enjoyed with only a few players online, rather than having to go to another game (they'll get into something else and not come back)
(I'm sure i read about these game modes in the Wiki?)

I know this game is all about the tactics but these game modes would really help the learning curve and people would be more likely to stick around to learn the tactics.

I think AI is being worked on, this is the first I've heard of a CTF mode, though. That'd be pretty interesting. Is AFS still active? It seems like there are a lot of new guys floating around that could use an AFS tag.

The CTF game mode has been around since the very beginning, just nobody plays it very much.

IIRC there were crashing issues with regards to the CTF gametype. (This was back in the day about four or five years ago.)

I always pushed for people to play CTF and the few times we got a game going (and it didn't crash) it was hilariously fun.

We need more "what I can do" instead of "what we can do" threads.

We're not laking on ideas, we are lacking at doers and coordination.

yes I agree! If you want to do something do it! Play more! Advertise the game to your friend- both in real life and face book. @#(! look at craiglist personsl, find the ones with "gamer girls" and message them about this game! Post up flyers with links at your college!

I work at a uni and would be happy to put some flyers up. Is there some suitable graphics around?
