the notion of "if bad guys really want a gun they will get it" is just plain stupid. Its like people assume everyone has black market ties or something

There seems to also be an assumption that criminals and crazies are somehow really skilled and competent.

Everyone would have black market ties if they needed them to get the guns they refuse to be without.

A ten minute car ride, a pocket full of cash, and an idiotic sense of trust in people so deseperate they are willing to risk living in a 3m by 3m space the rest of their natural born lives is all I need for most any illegal thing. My guess is the difference between any one of you and me involves how full your pockets are and the length of time in the car. Being an idiot about these things tends to be universal
