The Jews and the Arabs have made tons of compromises already. Look at the administration of Jerusalem. The Jews occupy the city, but the Arabs have always controlled the Temple. The Jews arent allowed to pray inside as it would upset the Muslims, so they have to pray at one of the original ancient walls outside the complex called the Wailing Wall. The temple is the 2nd holiest site in Islam, where Muhammad supposedly ascended into heaven.
So its not like there is ZERO precedence for compromise. Israel needs to begin the process of de-settling the West Bank over the next 5-10 years and begin the process of turning over administration AND SECURITY to Abbas's government (NOT Hamas).
I'm not saying put all of Israels security in that area in the hands of the Palestinians, but clearly the Palestinian rocket attack problem is not going to be solved by any security effort made by Israel. It needs to be Palestinians arresting Palestinian terrorists.
Now, any problems with the peace process become an Arab one, between militant groups and the rest of the Arab World. You think the Arab League likes Hamas in Gaza? Egypt would love to have these border issues solved, so would Jordan and Syria. These countries are, in some ways, victims of radical Islam as well. The proliferation of Non State Actors operating in their borders makes them vulnerable, as they cant control them.
Its really a shift of power away from traditional state actors to non state actors. Power diffusion was how i heard about this concept. (Great TED talk here on Power in the 21st century.)

The best way to solve this problem is to let one set of @#$%@#s kill the other set. I favor isreal because they are slightly easier to deal with and slightly less crazy, and at least embrace democratic ideals.

Wait, who ever said anything about it being okay?qqqqqq wrote:QUOTE (qqqqqq @ Nov 15 2012, 05:10 AM) HA

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
also for the above if the U.S can drone strike down their own citizens we surely can strike down Hamas leaders
and what the $#@! does PR has to do with any of this, its not a drama show nor an election
Like Germ has stated, rocket attacks may decrease shortly after an Israeli response but wow guess what they just start back up again. Who knew that shooting Palestinian kids would make people mad. Like I said in the other thread, it's either you exterminate these people or find a diplomatic/economic solution that doesn't involve shooting civilians and blowing @#(! up. Only one of these will ensure that someone doesn't drop a nuke on Israel in the future.qqqqqq wrote:QUOTE (qqqqqq @ Nov 15 2012, 07:47 AM) They will when we're done with them
Assuming pussy government will decide @#(! just got real after a rocket just landed in Rishon Letziyon which is, in the center of Israel.
Edit :
If to answer this seriously, yes the number of rockets does decrease/stop after a severe and strong attack.
This is nonsensical. It's like saying how can there be a famine problem in North Korea when they can afford one of the world's largest militaries. Have you considered that maybe smuggling rockets and weapons has nothing to do with obtaining food or medicine?lexaal wrote:QUOTE (lexaal @ Nov 15 2012, 03:37 PM) As long as they are still able to smuggle this ammount of missiles into the country it is hard to believe in the hunger/medication problem.

We found that this helped. You need the Happy Feet guy at 2.23 for true peace though.

I lolled only because of the Image of K10 trying to abuse his abusers who look like Adept.BREZHNEV wrote:QUOTE (BREZHNEV @ Nov 16 2012, 05:53 AM) ad stop taunting k10.... send him to a camp instead where as adept says he can be "abused horribly " like in WW2
And #mutiny doesnt work in a concentration camp.
PS: What happened to the Jews was wrong but I cant change history.
Topic Derail: Oh, was talking to my 94 year old Chemist Great Uncle on the weekend who was a German sympathiser in WW2. He says that Latvia was only successful prior to WW2 because of the Jews and their business sense and Germany was envious that Jews could do a better job of capitalism than they could. Production and pay was so much better under Jewish business ownership.
$#@! I hope I can still be so coherant at 94. My uncle is amazing, and his knowledge of XRay Spectroscophy is still as good as it ever was when he was emplyed by the Nazy to do non-destructive testing of propellers for Frigates and Supply ships.
