But I am wondering why after downloading and using the latest installer I have to update 285(!) items, that seems a bit much for last minute changes ^^
+1

Didn´t get to see the actual volume of information downloaded, but I am sure it exceeded the size of the full installer...

EDIT: That said, once it downloaded everything I was able to get to the lobby ok.

There was a minor issue with files last night, so to be safe I set up the vital files to download via ACSS AU, which wasn't necessary. I have turned off that publication, so the initial update is much smaller.

Several people are already playing this morning! w00t!

Quick question - the ASGS version returned a rather odd error for me: 0xD0000005. I then went on to download an earlier version of ACSS which allowed me to run the training missions and nothing else (no connection to the servers). I've currently uninstalled both because the ASGS version wouldn't allow me to do anything and the ACSS version is currently being updated with allegsetup_300.exe. Now, will not having a functioning ASGS version prevent me from playing the ACSS version?

Nope, ASGS and ACSS work side by side. They both use different environments.

Maximus, your beta account should still work, if you haven't logged in since the password reset, you'll need to use the forgot password link to get the forgot password mail.

Terran, ACSS stats DB is open for business, which means that we can now get reporting on how many people sign up, login once and don't return, get emails for marketing, etc. The stats DB is separate from the security DB, which means it can be shared without revealing hiders, etc. No reports have been made at this point except for a rudimentary leader board and the other ASGS-like reports.

You can see stats as acss.alleg.net, as soon as you guys get a 5v5 that lasts longer than 5 minutes, entries will appear on the leader board.

Quick question, tried logging in but had to make a new acc, and it linked both accounts (One I had used for ACSS). Now I can't choose it in the Community Security System screen. Says I still have 2 hiders remaining

Any help on that?

Q:

Is there a plan to re-implement the 'players currently logged in' feature as normally seen here: http://www.freeallegiance.org/forums/index.php?act=home
