ACSS is now LIVE.

Please download the full installer below (or from the links on the front page). TigerEye has graciously maxed out the RAM and CPU in ACSS server, and kicked up the hard drive to a respectable amount of space.

Note that only CSS is available in the server list with slightly out of date cores. This server will only last until pkk and Spunky have updated their servers to ACSS versions, and join the fray. CSS will then be shut down (as it's running on the same box as the lobby), and we'll go forth from there.

Once we have gained stable status, hopefully we'll be able to reach out to aarmstrong to update Planet and then the roll out will be complete.

Thanks!

================================================================================

Hello All,

TE, pkk, Spunkmeyer and I have been working on the schedule for this roll out, and I am finally back in town and ready to go.

On 10/15 at 9pm CT we'll be turning off the ASGS lobby and turning on the ACSS lobby. Everyone will need to install the ACSS full installer client:

http://downloads.alleg.net/allegsetup_300.exe

Backup download link

The ACSS full installer will be made available on the mirror locations at the time of production roll out.

Please do not uninstall your ASGS version of Allegiance. The two versions will run side by side without issue, so that in case of any issues with ACSS we can easily get back to ASGS.

After we are stable on ACSS for a month or so, ASGS can be uninstalled without affecting ACSS.

Slayer may be off line for a bit during the transition as Spunky is out of town, but he will be able to update it when he gets back.

Thanks everyone who helped get it to this point, I appreciate your patience through this process.

Edit 2: Added dropbox link for comrade Brezhnev.

So, all of us who already have acss installed, needs to re-install it?

Or we can just keep our versions?

The installer is the same (already 2 months old), no need to reinstall if you have ACSS already installed. Just gave it a new file name.

It's about flipping time. At some point, you just gotta take a risk and pull the trigger. Shipping is a feature. Good on you, mate!
