Hey, I've just finished the training. I can't log in to the lobby too and I've gone through all of that.

What's wrong? What trigger type and public port type do I need to put on? I've put on both of them Both TCP and UDP, And it's not working!

Edit: I have D-link 804HV if that helps you solve my problem.

SOLVED

Oh wait, is there any other way to play than connecting to MSN Gaming Zone? Because I know MSN Gaming Zone doesn't exist anymore...

Edit: Oh it exists, the CD-Rom section doesn't...

The MSN gaming zone entry in your router settings does not mean you connect to the gaming zone. It only describes the trigger ports. (The ones Allegiances uses are those of the MSN gaming lobby)

Okay.

First we want to find your computer's local IP address, so that we know where to forward the ports to.

Click on Start, Run. Type in "cmd" (without quotes), and press enter. A black DOS window should pop up.

Next, type in "ipconfig" (without quotes). Write down the series of numbers after the

"IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . :" field.

You can then close that window.

Next, launch a browser window. In the address bar, type in: http://192.168.0.1
and press enter.

Type in "admin" (without quotes) for the username, and leave the password field blank. This is the default login for that router.

[ From: http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.asp?prod_id=1005 ]

Step 2 Click on the Advanced tab and then Virtual Server on the left side.

Step 3 Enter the following information:
Check the box next to Enable.
Next to Service Ports, enter the port or range of ports you want to open.
2300-2400

Next to Service IP, enter the IP address of the computer you want to open the port to.
ip address you got from ipconfig earlier

Click Always next to Schedule or enter the time frame that you want.
Step 4 Click Apply and then click Restart to save your changes.

the easier way is to go to the port triggering section.
There you enable the port forwarding rule for the MSN gaming zone and you should be ready to go.

I have DLink 804HV, not Dlink804....

I have only Public and Private Port and Private IP that's locked to 192.168.0.*Anything here*

Edit: I tried to figure out how to put it in my form and it works now! Thanks!
