One more titbit. If you squirt off a whole rack of QF at once, when the target deploys a CM it will attemt to spoof them all. If you lock and fire, the reflexively deployed CM will only effect the first missile, and the cooldown time will make it impossible for the target to spoof any of the remaining volley.

Cap ships with a rack of 30+ QF for the lul factor, vs a scout, that's about it.

Also I want to point out that if you are firing off all of the QF in one massive spam then several things are likely to happen.

1) I'll use a CM to spoof most of the missiles, well, half to three quarters of 'em it seems like typically.

2) You are a newbie spamming QF in which case you most likely do not have a good firing solution on me and I will dodge most of the remaining missiles.

Or in short.

You fire off 4 QF in fast succession, I'm willing to bet that I'll only be hit by one, maybe two of them.

QF has some uses sure.... Like if you are trying to shoot down TF turrets. But I'll take DF or Seekers any day of the week over QF for the most part.

I see a lot of stupid replies, and trolling (which is normal for this group of horny nerds)

Let me just tell you..
A. Quickfire is great against interceptors, and since gat particle speed is so slow, equivalent tech of disruptors tend to work better vs interceptors as well (for the limited amount of time you get to fire it before your pathetic energy is depleted).
B. It's pretty much @#(! against anything else
C. If you're assuming you have the time to fire off seekers and dumbs (let alone hit an intelligible int pilot) while under hail from mini2/3... you're sadly mistaken in 95% of situations.

Ints are built for combating other ships.
Figs are built for bumrushing and GTFO
SFs are built for slow, boring agonizing gameplay tactics against blind things like ints and people that do not probe
$#@! you all.
