So I played a couple games last night... in the middle of my last one, something really funky happened.

Clicking on things in the interface with my mouse no longer worked. I could still use my mouse and buttons to fly and fight with my ship, but nothing in the in-station or pre-game interface would respond to a single left mouse click. I found I had to right click or double-click on buttons in order to submit them. I have a laptop, and this affected both my USB mouse and trackpad.

In addition, some really weird freaky beep and bop sounds started happening when I moused-over things in-station. It was like the technoflux station got hacked by cylons ;)

This condition persisted throughout the rest of my game and post-game. After I closed Alleg and reopened it, everything was fine.

Thoughts? Is this just a weird random bug or is there something I can do from preventing it from occurring in the future?

That's a bit of a new one on me. Likely it's an issue between your hardware and drivers. I can't really think of anything in Alleg that would cause that. Have you tried to hit the ESC key? That sometimes clears a "stuck" key in Alleg, but I've never experienced it personally.

I think he's describing that bug where you have to click a button a 100 times before it does something, or it works the other way and double clicks when you only did a single click.

Only way to fix it is to restart your computer. :glare:
