They still get Mini3 ints off the bat, and don't even need to up the expo do that. This means the dreg team in your example is pretty much forced not to get mini3 on their HTT push, as the mini3 they will give their opponents is going to hurt more then help.


Why not make reverse engineering dependent on the actual research level of the tech? Ie why not make it so mini3 can't be stolen unless you actually have an ADVANCED expo, and not just a basic?

Actually the dreg team waits until they have a good target for HTT and then buys mini3 and gets whole team to mow down mini2/1 ints/lt ints. It's all about timing, if your stupid enough to give them tech when you don't need to it's your own fault, same if you don't give your team tech to end the game.

I really don't see tech being dropped as a problem, it be booty yarr!

I'd pod a mini3 dreg int in my mini2 IC int and then dock mini3 for my team.
