here ya go.. figs vs ints on the wiki:

then you can read the next section on missiles so you can understand why you are missing
be sure to click on the youtube link for the video too. lots of hard work went into making those vids so be sure to take advantage!

Seekers and quickfires do have better turning, but they will still miss if you have a high lateral velocity relative to your target.
There are two main ways to keep distance - one is to backthrust so the int is chasing you while you are moving backwards facing it, and drop a minepack between you and the int. The other is to boost towards the int as he is closing on you, forcing the int to overboost ("jousting"), turn, and repeat. Or combine the two.
If you can land your quickfires, they hurt.

well, very useful all those infos, the video I had already warched but this time I realized the meaning of the momentum [ the ( ) ] in relation to the center of the target (a green cross in my case). I used a little more properly the int against figS (it was easier to boost closer the fig and aim better while watching the bullets landing on the enemy) , although I intended The oposite (to use better the fig against int) when I asked advices above. I still hate the frequent fuel and ammo reloading of the int, the lack of ripcording ability, the far sector traveling limitation (because of fuel limitation). I guess I have to practice for a really long time so to be better in fig. And with missiles also. (disapointed also when I saw the weakness of my .... loving (lol)...qf)

yup.. love the feedback and also explaining your thought process... it helps us better address other newbies that have similar questions. the one thing that i found might be helpful.. is that you can (both fig and int) boost towards a power up... and before you use up the whole tank of fuel, just drift the rest of the way to the power up (assuming its pretty close anyway). then when you pick it up, it refuels your tank and you can continue boosting towards another power up.
you can repeat this process (as long as the power ups are somewhat in line to whatever aleph you are trying to travel to, to arrive at your destination with plenty of fuel to chase miners down.
btw, you are free to change the loadout.. typically for figs, i'd take away an ammo and put a fuel instead. ints i use default unless i get higher kb... in which case, i remove an ammo and put a fuel also. (higher kb = more damage = less ammo needed) just dont miss

More noobish questions ....1)The comm ask for carrier attack... i go (but alone) and when im close enough a few ints appears.....what i suppose to do i)keep attack the carrier as long as i can? ii) I retreat ? iii) attacking the ints 1st (in certain case I manage to kill only 1 in the best effort) and carrier next?
2)i follow a miner with my scout to enemies home and attacking it (I have inform the team first)...but a few defenders appears What I should do i) keep attacking the miner (especially when it is half hull or less) hoping be lucky enough to avoid enemy fire by proxies till kill the miner? ii)Retreat ?

1- if you're alone it's much likely u'll die so it's better to wait for the whole team to help on this, since carriers are REALLY hard to kill when they're already inside a sector.corelsx wrote:QUOTE (corelsx @ Nov 12 2011, 10:11 AM) More noobish questions ....1)The comm ask for carrier attack... i go (but alone) and when im close enough a few ints appears.....what i suppose to do i)keep attack the carrier as long as i can? ii) I retreat ? iii) attacking the ints 1st (in certain case I manage to kill only 1 in the best effort) and carrier next?

2-if you're far enough and miner has half hull its likely u'll get the kill if u ram the miner away of defenders without dying. if you wanna know more about scout miner killing talk to fwiffo, he's the best at that!
