Default Loadouts for newbies

Not ICE... R6 had built in option to save loadouts for 10 slots. He's saying use that system, by adding an extra "default" slot and distribute loadout definition files for that slot, essentially disabling the current default loadout system.

not really disabling - if theres no loadoud saved for that ship in the "default" slot, the code default would be used.
Basically an extra layer overriding the code default on certain ships it is defined for.
Still ready to teach anyone who asks nicely whatever they want to know about playing alleg. Contrary to popular opinion I do not eat newbies. Voobs taste much better.

Oh well that can certainly be managed, but it's an R6 thing. Hit me up again whenever it's released and we'll talk, but it should be fairly easy so long as the code exists. I'll need to talk to Kage about perhaps allowing us this option in ICE before R6 is released so as soon as it gets out we'll have decent default loadouts. I imagine that the default loadouts could be stored in the core file instead of having to be appended to the end of anyone else's custom loadouts when I suggest that, but if it's some other way then please let me know now. I never actually looked at Imago's cloud loadout code, which I imagined to be an integral part of the custom loadouts that was tossed with the bathwater, so I don't know for sure how it's done.
