MrC, could you aggressively push some sort of mechanism for providing us with auto-balanced games utilizing AllegSkill, one of our greatest assets?
I would play again, regularly, knowing that I could helm reasonably balanced games.

I have a whip, does it count? It can be used to chop heads, and some other things if needed.Shizoku wrote:QUOTE (Shizoku @ Jan 18 2012, 12:07 AM) I got the spike, who's got the axe?

Long night on the forums so I'll save it probably for Thursday RL obligations tomorrow.
Just this one: Archie I may have something for you if the offer is still open. Still interested?
testing testing
damn still shows edits

just found out about this...
And that immediately reminded me why so many initiatives failed in the past: lack of communication and exposure. This should be front page news in BIG CAPS LETTERS. This should pop up when we launch ASGS. Not every one read these 3+ pages long topic where important posts are drowned in a sea of endless babbling of the bored members of these communities.
my advice: do not assume that because you know something or read it here that everyone else know it too. If it's important like this, better spam people with it rather than assuming they already know.
Also people that can REALLY help you are probably not aware of this because they're long gone and have stopped reading these forums. May be some email campaign to inform them could bring back a few people.
But reassure me 1st , you're really in charge and have precedence over everyone else even TE ? right ? Because if not , don't bother.
In other words, do you have the "keys" ?

Agreed, KGJV.
Looks like MrC is typing a response so I'll wait for him to finish and unless it's a stepping down post (what? I can always dream
) I'll make a news announcement quoting TE and MrCs posts and link to this thread. In addition I'll send out a broadcast over ASGS.
Edit: Well, I thought he was making a reply ... oh well, I'm proceeding.

lost to my new lappie @#(!ty touchpad "feature" and Im to tired to do it all again.
Basically its been 24 hours since it has been decided, 2 hours for increased forum priviledges, we agree 1000 percent about communication it WILL improve in all areas but Im not going to toot my own horn
What I am doing is coordinating things as opening as possible without being ridiculous about it. Ive hit the ground running in a nut shell Count
I know Ive got some new forum priviledges but keys I know they've started the discussion.
My reply was " You can count on my integrity, discretion, honesty, and honor without reservation but I don't see why I'd even need them for what we have to do" If I in fact need them then I will ask for them but I am not a stud with code so really it probably isn't worth my having them. I stand to be enlightened

lol, the first wind I caught of this was his posting something on Admin Reqs like one hour ago and I saw the black and red stripe and I immediately PMed him and congratulated asking for clarification. Now I see why he wasn't going to just spill the beans
Again - grats MrC, good luck out there.
Also, is the first post related to this? It's probably something about the new hire of PA really, Ben $#@!ing Kuchera, but...

(KGJV) Btw, yeah, having more Allegiance news on the ASGS Client is more like it, too. I'll just say this was a missing component for quite a while.

Battleduck Industries Inc. would like to take this oppurtunity to welcome the new CEO, and looks forward to a positive, productive collaboration with him.
Although we would like to reiterate our position, ie: dogs still > cats. We feel sure that this is an issue that we can work around.
