I am not the best at actual design, but I could definitely work on something. Maybe if someone with more artistic talent actually designed the site, I could do all the coding. I am in school, so it would probably take some time...

You do know this community is well known for never reaching a consensus right? Asking them what they want will lead us to your preivous statement.

Don't reach a consensus. Run a poll and do what the majority thinks is best. Yeah, I know that can lead to mistakes, but at least something will be done. IMHO.

I remember upon my return getting my ass handed to me by the legendary pook the first time I volunteered an opinion other then be nice to the childish over something I in fact was an expert on... but not this community. I did in fact have a clue on the subject but not the community to sum it up

The trip down memory lane is meant to help with the next point:

A poll is an awful idea given it never works out well. The community voice is divergent, concensus is achieved rarely and usually for extrodinary circiustance like a RL death. Zone Leaders are in charge of their area none of which have a clear mandate to make changes. TE mantains it and the forum server is owned by him as well and who, as you can tell in the other threads, has little time to devote to a revamp because of a few people wishing it to happen... not to say you aren't right ( or wrong ) just the tree you are barking up is a coconut tree in season ;)

I'd like to help. I am not a professional or an expert, but a relatively good hobbyist. I think, with this new info, that what has been said on the other topic is true: we need a leader who can make decisions, and not wait for the crowd to OK it. It does say a lot for why Allegiance is in the state it is now, though... :bang:

The updated forum software is great, unfortunately a major plugin that we use on the administration side(being self group/forum access management) has not been updated to work with the new software. So alas it has been scrapped for now....
