The game is cool with friends though
Theres a bunch of .ini mods that you can do fairly quickly that make the game a lot better on the PC:

My cousin gifted this game to me on Steam when the Game of the Year edition went on sale for 7.50 a few weeks ago. It's a blast to play with 4 people in co-op. Mindless fun.

This should be our next collective purchase.

Yeah I really want to try Dead Island, but there are so many games coming out soon that I want to play. Thankfully, a lot of the new games are free to play/microtransaction. But there are a few coming out that are still going to cost money and i'm trying to limit how much money I blow on games that I play for only a week then set down for eternity.

Can't wait for this years holiday Steam sale though. If DeadIsland is cheap enough around then i'll probably pick it up.

On PC it sucks ass because of hacked items being way too uber. If you join a multi odds are one guy will have a one-hit-kill gun that shoots 60 000 bullets/second that causes severe lag in the game and kills everything before you can battle. Uberlameo.

I just started playing it again with my roomie though, lvl 7 Siren. Going to try out all the DLC.

Anyone rock this on the XBox Live?

I bought it on release for the xbox. Unfortunately i'm some kind of retard with FPS games on consoles, so I only play this on PC now.
