XT vs MEC

Virulence (Bios, AdvExp) vs. Sarajevo (Dreg, AdvExp), Limited Diamond, 1.25, 1.25, Treasures on, XC05

-XT and MEC both go high
-XT's outpost arrives first and the sector is secured
-MEC attempts to charge the sector with a handful of ints which explode on prox
-XT's op builds
-XT routes a carrier through the center of the map to secure the path for a teleport con to build on the exp rock center high
-MEC builds a TP low and then plants their op next to XT's home
-XT's miners are already finished with one sector and unload at our forward outpost
-XT builds an expansion center high, MEC builds theirs low
-XT commences light miner skirmishes, destroys several miners and secures the center of the map with another outpost
-MEC pushes another outpost forward and cuts off our home from the rest of our sectors, but it is irrelevant as our miners are already secure in the center of the map and we have a forward teleport
-XT has 30k in the bank as our first wave of expansion tech is completed, along with adv scouts, prox3, and probe 3
-XT probes the @#(! out of everything because probe 3 is super overpowered
-XT throws themselves at MEC's miners while we wait for Nan3 and HTTs to finish
-HTTs and Nan3 finish, and XT deploys to capture MEC's exp in one fell swoop
-XT caps the rest of MEC's stuff while our miners come under attack, and I defeat the 4-man assault with my lone heavy interceptor
-XT deploys a sup, garr, op, and ref to MEC's home as they try to zerg us with bombers
-Shizoku and I run out of ammo blowing up MEC at their garrison
-MEC rips low and blows up their old expansion and Clay posts a resign vote
-Weed caps MEC's garrison before it passes, ending the game

When we failed to get to the high sector first as dreg, that was game right there

The challenge? That's usually a good motivator
Edit: Sadly, as much as I love a challenge that was going to be my last game against xt, but Night and Shiz's comments, plus the fact the game needs more players than whingy ones so I play on. Warning to players who impede others enjoyment though.
