ugh the controls are complete ass and a scratch is death. One or the other is acceptable not both. It has the whiff of today's meme tomorrow's lesson in phail UNLESS they fix the god awful control mechanics.
Its early days so I have fond hopes for it but:
The days, the only time one can safely sanely move about, go by to fast to accomplish much of anything given the speed of the character along with the need to eat and sleep.
As I guessed the inability to save game progress is ragequit inducing given the god awful controls, the scratch is death nature of things, and starting all the way back at the beginning of the tutorial... yes I'm aware of the pillows function.
Events are entertaining and surprising but almost always *pow your dead* the first time encountering it, which is fine by me except *points to the previous comment abous starting at the beginning*
Please ffs let me be able to knock down the damn picket fences which now act as a funnel for you and the zombies. Or better known as Zombie feeding que
In conclusion I'd give the blokes the money, play for a bit, and wait a month to see if anything pans out. Early days lots, clinky game play, unforgiving with no check points, and controls = total ass
Hmmm wonder if there is an Allegiance lesson wrapped in it
Team Doorjam's write says much the same thing. I think what makes this game compelling is you can feel someones competent is behind it, the cheering for David vs Goliath thing with indie developers, and the general hope something will shake up things so we don't keep playing endless versions of Halo

The controls suck and restarting at the beginning over and over because of it is ragequit inducing. I'm sure they are aware and yet another slob bleating it out loud will only bring out the trolls. We get enough of that here
edit: damn it Fuzz now you've got me thinking my opinion might matter... maybe I will post my thunks sanity has returned nm the edit ~yp

I actually went an posted on another forum (is it 2012)
I posted in an existing thread, about the subject matter at hand, politely, and was told (not by devs) that the keys were a "feature" of the game and grow a pair cause there are no more "hard" games now... then it was moved to the suggestions portion of the forum (by a dev/admin wihtout comment) aka the @#(! heap were suggestions (hopefully) go to die
and
. It was nicely and rationally done and all just @#(!ty controls as a game feature = unistall for me. I'll try to expand my attention span to hamster level and wait to see what they will do with things. Again I feel there is a lesson in there for us
Ok enough with the zombie games for me

I will be lurking in the background tbs Fuzz, and we shall see what we shall see.
