So... apparently it's Finland vs. Sweden for the world championship. The jocks are gonna go wild and drink themselves silly, whoever wins. If Finland wins there will be a massive drunken celebration, if we lose to Sweden, the nation will go on a depressed bender and wallow in their misery.

Either way this place will be insufferable for a while, and a large part of the population will be too hung over for work tomorrow.

Doesn't sound that bad compared to say, Montreal. They have hockey riots on a rather regular basis.

Might be time to load a bunch of sandbags and barbells in your car if you have one and live in either sweden or finland.

It'll make it harder for them to flip your morris minor or whatever tiny car you euroes are driving this days. :P

Ok, I have to admit the championship game is of such quality that even a non-hockey-fan like me is fascinated.

People in the US may be confused on how gentlemanly the play is. No fist fights on the ice, and no huge players who are there just to hurt the opposing team.
