What? Some pyramids old buildings? Some warships?

This is just another move in the "we pretend we are doing some thing while we don't do anything at all to solve the problems"-game.

We could ask for our submarines they paid for with the money we lent them.

The faulty submarines that the German company bribed Greek officials to purchase?

anyway Greece should default on the debt that the foolish German and French banks lent them in the first place and possibly exit the Euro rather than the taxpayers having to suffer. Though the taxpayers will likely suffer anyway when these banks collapse but at least anger will be directed at the banks and not Greece.

QUOTE Demanding collateral, an idea floated last year by Finland, may help avoid a political backlash against bailouts.[/quote]

Damn Adept just tied off the udders on the cash cow! I thought he was more for his fellow man than that.

And 300 painted the Greeks in such a noble light too. All that PR++ gone, gone, gone.

As austerity tax percentage approaches 1, so does the needle tip towards communism?

If you tax until death, you go to 100% welfare state, and that's the end of that, until revolution?

I r not a poli-sci guy, but I know some guys who are. Go go gadget WALL OF TEXT!!!

Greece would be in a better state if people didn't standardly retire at 55 (or whatever it is) and paid some tax in the mean time. The complaints from the public seem a bit crappy to people in this country where we work longer and pay more tax as standard. (same goes for the French when they complaint about raising retirement ages).
