I would have gone with "don't put massive changes up to vote to an unqualified electorate in the first place, but if you do, don't use 54% as if it were a clear mandate to make a sweeping change". LOL at attempting to move the goalposts only after the decision has been made, however.

Unfortunately this is just another chapter of CC's long, slow, inexorable slide into irrelevance. No slight to any of those that have captained this ship now or in the past, but it turns out that "design by community" wasn't as great as an idea as it initially appeared.

I feel people like cashto are like those homeless dudes who tote those "The End is near" signs on the corner.

Stop bringing my mood down and just ask for money like all the other homeless dudes you @#$%@#!

Who is using 54% for anything? Maybe people missed the part where we're still introducing the autogen hitboxes for models?

This wasn't about anything specific, just a general request on topics of large changes. ;)

DasSmiter wrote:QUOTE (DasSmiter @ Apr 27 2011, 08:34 AM) Close mapped hitbox shoots through with a 54% approval rating.

We'll be introducing autogen hitboxes for some of the more troublesome ships, but otherwise we'll attempt to make due with the detestable close mapped hitboxes.
Jimen wrote:QUOTE (Jimen @ Apr 28 2011, 05:33 AM) Wait, you're ACTUALLY using the results of that terribly-done poll?
DasSmiter wrote:QUOTE (DasSmiter @ Apr 28 2011, 06:18 AM) Jimen is as observant as ever
Yet the forum poll says something different

Do you want the close mapped hitboxes or autogen hitboxes?
Close Mapped Hitboxes (new dreg/tf models are close mapped) [ 38 ] ** [48.72%]
Autogen Hitboxes (All the original hitboxes are autogenned I believe) [ 40 ] ** [51.28%]

I gather the ASGS polling people clicked on the top option so they could just log in and play

CC is a dogs breakfast much like the polling process

Asking the majority, is like asking a passerby for investment advice.

sometimes you get someone who really knows what they are talking about, but most of the time you get roybrown

If you ask me, you should only be asking involved, intelligent, and informed members of the community rather than the drooling hoard
