I dunno, there have been a lot of bad posters in the past. Slap anyone? Feddus is up there too. As far as Core Dev posts go, there are a lot of contenders too.

Squad vs World games are never really good. Large games usually involved Bios/Belters/Giga, EastWest or a similarly gigantic map and was a time sink of epic proportions. Also, Sup was always involved in some way or another. And we know how much Sup sucks.

I haven't been around for a year but I know of Alien's heresy. This has been going on a while so he really is deluding himself if he thinks the community just upped and started treating him like dirt for no reason. It didn't use to be:

1. Alien posts silly idea
2. Alien gets flamed immediately

I'm almost certain there was a point where Alien was treated with a modicum of respect, but he passed the point of no return long ago. Reading some of the posts in this thread have been really enlightening. It baffles the mind how he can sit there and write "WHY" half a dozen times in the face of overwhelming evidence against him. He even has the nerve to say "why is this the worst idea" when THREE people, Night, OMB and Jarvis told him why. And when RedLion said "no", AGAIN he had the audacity to say "why" when the only argument for his idea of mandatory World vs World games instead of SGs was "because I like big games".

This is the worst part. He'd rather have one big game with every squad than a 1v1 SG because you MIGHT AS WELL PLAY A PUG? Unbelievable. That he would compare a squad game to playing a pick up game is nonsensical. Is he not a member of a squad or has he not played a squad game? Even in the most disorganized SGs, the level of teamwork is infinitely more advanced than a pick up game. He did not even stop to consider the existence of squads...indeed, why would we join squads if people could just play PUGs. The fact that people had to spell it out is indicative of a serious reality disconnect. If he's part of BS and realizes SGs are played on Sunday, why would he say something so ignorant? What did he think people were doing? WHY WOULD WE PLAY SGs IF WE PREFERRED PLAYING PUGs? Of course players who are members of squads prefer playing $#@!ing squad games. Seriously.

There shouldn't be a point of no return.

I responded to those who told me why (shared a reason), and asked again those who didn't (flamed). You're claim that I ignored those who shared valid points shows which one you are.

I suppose I've never participated in a good SG.
