well it depends on the scenario, if you have mini 2 hvy ints and there are two of you you can probably spike that bbr, and judging from the fact that the other int that wasn't shooting at that nan could solo it i'd wager you had at least mini 2.Wanderer wrote:QUOTE (Wanderer @ Feb 17 2011, 03:25 PM) The new question, given that there were two ints there and we were within 2K of the base, is if both the other guy and I were competent, should we still have taken the nan down first, then the bbr, or should we have gone straight for the bbr?
if you can't aim, then maybe as a temporary measure, while you work on it, you should try ramming the bombers. it helps greatly for a multitude of reasons:
1) nans take some time to readjust to the new location of the bbr giving a small but opportune window for your allies to spike the bbr from under possibly multiple nans.
2) You deny the bbr all of it's momentum, so it takes longer to get in range of your base
3) scouts that were ramming the bbr now have to take an obnoxious amount of time realigning behind the bombers new position, again increasing the amount of time it takes the bbr to get in range
But this is merely a temporary way to maximize usefulness if you find yourself unable to pod any nans by the time bbr's get in base range
