For such an old game, it has what I would call a thriving community, plenty of active players and such. I think it has around 400 active people or something, I wouldn't really know..I just came back myself. The game itself is very unique in that you aren't going to find gameplay like this anywhere, so It's worth a try.RoyalGuard17 wrote:QUOTE (RoyalGuard17 @ Feb 13 2011, 11:41 PM) Is this game only have like 30 people in it? or is it huge? or medium?? I am not new to games but new to this one....
???????!
Thanks!!!!
They also have classes for newer players called "Cadet" classes that have veterans in the community offering to help better situate them. These guys are pretty awesome.

RoyalGuard, you must learn at which time of day will there be the most players (it's a trend I've observed)RoyalGuard17 wrote:QUOTE (RoyalGuard17 @ Feb 14 2011, 12:41 PM) Is this game only have like 30 people in it? or is it huge? or medium?? I am not new to games but new to this one....

Here in Singapore there are LOTS of players in the morning.
You get playable ping from Singapore? Cool!Zero_Falcon wrote:QUOTE (Zero_Falcon @ Feb 14 2011, 09:39 AM) RoyalGuard, you must learn at which time of day will there be the most players (it's a trend I've observed)

Edit:
Regarding community size, I'd say the size is perfect, give or take some times when we are short on devs or have periods of low activity during off hours.
Otherwise, the number is perfect in as much as you can have a good feel for the characters. XD

Small compared to others but loyal and by far the best online space sim you'll ever play. Teamwork is #1
However a sharp learning curve but plenty of help to get you over the hump.
Suggestion 1 Sign up for AFS and then @CDT I and II
Suggestion 2 dont let some of the ego's run you away
Good luck and see ya in game

Yeah, but CS is one of those games you can pick up in a few minutes and get results. Allegiance, at least from my experience is incredibly difficult to get on your feet with and takes time and patience to learn, let alone master, but It's very rewarding. I think many gamers today expect thrills within minutes in a game and don't very much care for learning how it works and that's why CS might have a bigger player base than say, Allegiance.k10xbai wrote:QUOTE (k10xbai @ Feb 16 2011, 06:18 AM) I belive CS is just as old as alleg.

I decided to relive the days gone by in my new blog.
