The history of open-source Allegiance is paved with the bodies of dead code branches, forum flame wars, and personal vendettas. But a community remains because people still love the game.
Okies...make sure to keep track of all the $$$ you spend on them before coming back and playing here again.Bacon wrote:QUOTE (Bacon @ Jan 29 2011, 04:07 PM) Yeeaaaah I'm sorta done w/ playing Allegiance. I mean I'll pop on every once in awhile, but there are many other great games out there that need playing!

Sorry bud, but I haven't been a regular in-game for quite some time. This isn't a recent development =) Even last year when I was trying to make the new homepage, I wasn't really playing. But that's beside the point! il2, bigger community and the original developersGandalf2 wrote:QUOTE (Gandalf2 @ Jan 29 2011, 06:20 PM) People before us may have played computer games, perhaps even the same one for a couple of years, but really, how many PC games have had a community & have been played for over 10 years? I guess to have a community willing to keep it going needs the internet so this must be a phenomenon from the last 15 years or so (I've been online 14 years afaik).
