Not many. Grarrgrarr is... Indonesian I think, and we've had the occasional Indian player but I don't know if any are active. Ski2Slow lived in Japan for a bit but I don't know if he's still there. Not much else between Australia and Eastern Europe as far as I know.

I guess I might as well introduce myself. I'm VTurtle, also known as "that newb who flew around the base several times the other night looking for the #$@# green door until he gave up and let the autopilot handle it." I normally go by Valiant Turtle, but had to shorten it here. I noticed at least one other turtle named player in one of the games I joined so I may switch to something else for a primary callsign just to avoid confusion.

I've actually been aware of Allegiance for several years, but had avoided it thus far because I had a strong feeling it might be a bit addicting. But since I realized that it's possible to jump in and out of a match without too much fuss I've decided it's not likely to cause too much harm, so here I am.

One thing I thought I should point out is that several key articles in the wiki are quite out of date. I read up on all the factions and made my own notes and spreadsheet the other day, and then yesterday read that TechnoFlux miners are smallrip receivers. I thought it was odd that it wasn't mentioned in the main TF article in the Allegopedia, but then I noticed that the main article says the information is from CC_03. I'm guessing that their miners weren't smallrips in CC_03.

If I manage to stick around for a while I might try to adopt a few wiki pages to keep them up to date, but I'm still extremely clueless at this point.

One quick question. I connected up to the mumble server and there are tons of channels on there. Where should I be going to in there and is it used heavily enough in PUGS to be useful?

Mumble can always be useful. Even if it is just to say hello. :)

Mostly folks will join the main (default) channel unless there's a reason to join another one - ie blue team's channel, etc. Welcome to the game.

Yeah get on mumble, as long as you ask there's no problem you can't solve in alleg :D
With time OFC.

Well hey everyone; some of you may already have seen me ingame but as I don't play often that's most probably (and unfortunately, for those who like a good laugh) not the case. If you do see a scout trying to pick a fight with a heavy interceptor (and not realizing it until scout is gone and replaced by pod) then that might be me. I also love flying into minefields at full speed, spraying my comrades as much as my enemies with turret fire when friendly fire is on, and launching missiles at right angles.
From this you can gather that I (still) suck at Allegiance.

I'm learning bit by bit though so in a few months maybe, watch out :P

In any case I'll be on and off, but when I am on, see you ingame.

Btw, I do have preferences already in terms of factions (go TF! ^^) but I'll join any comm's team and do my best every time. Whether or not that counts will be up to training (and a lot of pod rides).
...and another pod ride...woop de Dooo...

Welcome Spi, don't worry you're through worse part, from now on it gets better.

Until you start commanding :)

Just ask when ever you can, people will usually help.
