OH ships may have a turret, but they don't have extra energy, ammo, hitpoints, ...

Having such a turret is overall no real advantage, you could have a 2nd ship, which has it's own ammo, missiles, hitpoints, shields, energy, ... and it would be a 2nd target for the enemy.

if you're still planning this Weed there are some turrets in EoR that do this. You could reuse or at least test with that texture if you fancy it.

It is a lot easier to coordinate 2 pilots to a single task when they are in the same ship.
For that reason, it is a huge advantage in a PuG for killing miners and cons.

Well, it forces you to use and analyze f6 very often, so it's a bit annoying to play vs oh imo.
I have a johnson photo in my profile since 2010.

I think you was playing for masta last night when it was his OH vs my TF. While I had steam rolled Cable on CC10 2 hours before(then the server reset in the middle of the game and we got on cc11) we didnt have the same advantage in the 2nd game.

I really didnt do anything different. We had great miner O but OH still got adv sup and finnally killed all my miners.

After our attempt to place a sup fail we resigned since I had to go to work and didnt need to turtle in our heavy TF ints for four hours

What would you suggest doing as TF AdvEXP vs OH ADV Sup since you created this monster:)

pod them all and camp the base?
Still ready to teach anyone who asks nicely whatever they want to know about playing alleg. Contrary to popular opinion I do not eat newbies. Voobs taste much better.

He's saying don't let them get the ADV Sup. If you had great miner O they wouldn't have been mining. Either that, or you had great miner O and didn't take advantage.

Honestly, I don't think anyone reasonable will argue we should balance anything based on Ryj's success at command.
