DN, HiHigher, Start 1.0, Total 0.85, Resources 1.0

First let me say that this was probably one of the better squad games I have been in all year. Since I was so focused on probing, proxing and miner defense, I honestly don't have a good timeline of the game, but here is what I remember:

BS/GB went Sup with several Carriers which boxed XT in and forced us to keep on defense most of the game. XT went with Enh Carriers and was eventually able to get a Sup Con and walk it, although eyed the whole way, to the center sector. A great, but brief Bomber battle then ensued resulting in the eventual destruction of XT's Sup… we never even got Enh Figs. XT had also lost most if not all of our miners and were also down 2 players. At this point, I am ashamed to say that I had serious doubts about the rest of the game. Oh yee of little faith… my flogging is forthcoming along with some ugly pig care duty.

Things started to turn around once XT got Hvy Scouts. XT(Ozzy/Vir/etc.) had managed to also kill off BS/GB's miners. It was at this point the Great Weedo decided to rally the troops. In a brash and well concealed run, he took a gunned bomber and a few nans for a ride on the "surprise, we are in your tech sector" train, resulting in the destruction of their few minute old Adv Sup. After stopping a few BS/GB bomb runs (with one spectacular solo kill by Defi I might add), XT went back on the offensive with the Great Weedo once again piloting the bomber with many a cloaked nan Scout deprobing the way. The convoy entered at full speed and cloak. Once BS/GB realized what was happening, they recalled most of their team including their own finishing move bomb run to our home. It was a glorious fight with ship explosions and pods everywhere. With only 2 nans left, Weedo put the final blow to the Garrison and ended the game. The XT TS channel erupted in cheers (ok... it was mostly me).

After the game, everyone remarked at how good of a game it was. BS/GB played exceptionally well together and used their Carriers to near perfection. XT had to use about every Bios /ninja.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ninja:" border="0" alt="ninja.gif" /> trick in the book to make a come back. The whole game reminded me of really good rough sex. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

Great $#@!ing Game.

I seriously think I made some beans in my pants when we won.

Very well played BS and Co.

Heavy scouts with small shield 3. Seriously, I think it's hilarious that the game went the way it did after they came up.

There was a time where your garrison was down to needing only 1 more missile pumped into it after a GBBS bombrun was foiled at the last minute.

I seriously thought we had won right then... but the bomber died and the garrison survived!!

Noooooo!!!

Yeah, I launched at the last second with Lyko on my turret in a hvy scout, killed the last few nans, and then we got the bomber. Was nuts.

i liked playing with BS. maybe we should have more of these kind of "mélange" squadgames, it was good fun on my part playing with BS, bu XT beat us to it in the end. definitely the top game of the year for me.
