Either it's buggy or I'm stupid, because I can't make head or tails of it.
Here's a screenshot:

Well the "time" axis (X) tells about how many hours has passed. For that image it says 110 hours ago one kill and six ejects were recorded compared to the previous stat change that happened 276 h ago. During that last hour interval you played for a short period of time (Hours played) which multiplies the KE/hour.
I am planning to modify the time to show more "time kind of" representation.
Ye I know Silverlight is something you would need to install. I was thinking to make a more conventional page also but made that just to get some coding practice.
For the scraping cycle. I might scale it down to daily scrape or stop it completely as there is enough data for test/dev purposes.
I bet you have better and more advanced views out there that I've not seen yet. I might throw this one into my recycle bin after a while :-)

Hi!fwiffo wrote:QUOTE (fwiffo @ Jan 15 2011, 01:50 AM) hrm im gettin a blank page... then again im using linux
also, you might wanna scale down your scraping freq of the leaderboard so the admins dont complain... i also scrape the same and have done some work similar to what you described... try it out maybe we can avoid reinventing parts of the wheel. i can even share my collected data with you to avoid the extra load on leaderboard.alleg.net itself (and give you post-parsed data)
click my sig to access the stuff i did with the leaderboard data
Thanks. I'll have a look at the stuff you have. Sure it's stupid to reinvent the wheel.
I'm not really sure how far I'll go with this one. Just that it is more interesting to practice coding when dealing with some real data instead of A=1 B=2...

Ok. Maybe this kind of approach works better also for the Linux users

Throwed the SL version out from there...

It shows up nicely but none of the stat graphs actually have any data.JohnBarman wrote:QUOTE (JohnBarman @ Jan 16 2011, 05:59 AM) Ok. Maybe this kind of approach works better also for the Linux users![]()

Yea I flushed the data from it as I did some modifications to the DB side. It has one initial load currently and the datapoint gets lost behind the vertical gridline.LANS wrote:QUOTE (LANS @ Jan 16 2011, 08:04 PM) It shows up nicely but none of the stat graphs actually have any data.
Next load is at midnight UTC and that should give the next datapoint and actual line showing up.

You can call netflix support and get them to switch your account to flash.spideycw wrote:QUOTE (spideycw @ Jan 15 2011, 12:15 AM) It's annoying I agree, but you seem to need it for lots of stuff (netflix for example to do full screen - wtf???)
Just tell them that you want to watch on your work PC sometimes while you're on business trips and the IT department won't let you install silverlight.
