Skutch, hoping he will end this silly topic with this silly post as he has ended topic discussions with silly post in the past.

O rly? What was your nick in Wulfram? I was sad to see that go - although It couldn't be helped when Fireball perma banned most of my squad. The demise of Wulfram has nothing to do with its attitude to newbs and everything to do with the attitude of the owner. See my blog for more details.

QUOTE A probable good time to implement a change like I suggested would be over the Christmas holidays when there is a sufficient influx of new players to keep newb servers populated enough for them to have games with preferrably a trainer in their with them . Hve a training time for newbs with a volunteer trainer for about 1 or 2 hours a day.[/quote]

There is something analogous to Wulfram's TRN programme here, the AFS and Cadet programmes. I actually think they are better with the expection of having no 'live exam' with a TRN to be able to play with the big boys. Here everyone gets to play (No Nightops / NoobOps equivalent) I was a TRN-A in Wulfram back in the day, and I am a Cadet instructor here.

Hey Adept, quit clicking on this thread if it offends you.

After a sucessfully deployed BETA (finally), we get the largest turnout we've seen on a weekday. Only problem is; they stay on the main servers.

Looks to me like the few remaining players are happy with things the way they are.

There's a solution to that. I'm planning on putting it into play for several future beta Wednesdays.

Which Wednesdays? This year? Tests have been performed already, bugs have been reported, how and when do you intend to fix the already reported bugs? Your gameplan sounds nice, but doesn't seem to address anything or result in any progress.

Doesnt seem too dead as all the posting going on... I know games with thousands of players accross 3 "universes" of the game and only a tiny tiny fraction post on the forum.

And I am a totally new player, not a smurf or old super veteran.
You should try to clear your mind of idle thoughts. And if you can't, I will

Because every 2-3 months we observe business is as usual around here. Broken game, no players, no development, no hope of recovering, but oh yeah, thank god the forum still thrives.
