The advantage being if you hold the button down, anyone with a graphics card with less than 512MB of memory will simply lag out or crash.

Bring enugh for...

/doh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="doh.gif" /> Sector overload. /doh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="doh.gif" />

How many would it take anyway? It would be an intresting strat, two assault ships, enugh MF to overload, and spam those QF /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Admitedly this will be an extremely convoluted and anoying way to kill people.
Mad? Oh yes, quite mad.

Vader shot the nans first.

sounds expensive, why not just drop loads of probes on the aleph?

if you want to crash the servre, you can res the aleph too.

Unless TEK is missing something, missiles don't even have an out of bounds penalty, or whatever it's called.

Gah! The forums are updating and all my text is white, on a white background. I can't even see what I'm typing.

EDIT: How about that, no typos...anymore.

seeker>quickfire. If you cant hit something with a DF, use a seeker.

Quickfires are most useful, when you can start unloading them, and just keep them oming.

and yeah, a dest with quickfires.... is friggin hilarious. they dont stop coming.

Seeker can be a very powerful weapon. If I'm on miner/con d and we have dumb1 and seeker 2, I'm taking the seekers. An int spiralling around your miner will rarely get hit. Yes the seeker only does 60% the damage, but its success rate more than makes up for it in those situations.

especially when facing vets.

most seasoned alleg players can dodge dumfires without even popping chaf a seeker can nail you even after youve spoofed it.

so, vs nuubs/ cons/ miners. DF is the weapon of choice.
from there, seekers are great for your multipurpose and vet hunting.

and quickfires are only good for things you need to kill FAST, and dont have much health. that or on ships you can carry a TON of them, and you need to blast something fast with alot of damage.

Meh, DFs is still my missile of choice when in a Fig...most voobs to vets eat them well, in close range combat, you use guns and mines anyway, plus they're ideal against bombers.

If you have Missile Damage 1 and DF2, you don't even have to shoot the nans if the D stay together...just all lob your DFs at once and keep firing, guns included, you'll overwhelm the nannages totally...IC and Dreg is obviously easier in this regard, in fact once Dreg Sup gets DF2 bombing doesn't work anymore if the defending team has half a brain (not even). I can't remember how many times I've charged an aleph and just given the bomber 4 DF in the face (Dreg only, as IC Sup is sacreligeous)...for every other faction, DF3 makes this very easy.

On Seekers, Lxy SFs can mount like six or seven Seeker3 (I dunno, personally I've never used Seekers for combat), I've seen good vets just pwn with them. And o' course, Seeker3 on Hvy Scouts is creamy...

I stopped using OFs a long time ago...on stationary targets like Combat/Station Drones, you can just fire off a seeker with no lock (heading somewhat in the drone's direction), and sometimes a dumb...

QFs on GS, that's probably all, even on Dests HK is so much cooler especially with Missile Camera...LOL!
