Allegiance Flight School has become a much more dynamic learning experience than the older Cadet I system, and it was felt that the old system of presenting lessons on a week-by-week basis wasn't applicable anymore.
Cadets (or whatever they're called) were joining the program at different times, and thus everyone was at a different point through the "weeks".
Cadets would prefer to look up lessons on a particular subject, but it was scattered across different weeks.
So, to address this, we've revamped the navigation index within AFS to make things a lot easier for the end-user. The lesson contents remain exactly the same, although the next goal is to begin trimming down the excessive "bloat" that was caused by covering the same subject on different weeks.
Anyway, have a poke around the "new" AFS, and tell us what you think. Linky

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.
looks good. I think the getting started should be higher but then I guess people are bypassing the "what you must read" stuff
I decided to relive the days gone by in my new blog.

Remember, what I say is IMO always. If I say that something sucks, it actually means "I think it sucks" OK?

Except the big about dorjan being jelly, that's just spidey's ego.

That's exactly what I was expecting to happen. Thanks.notjarvis wrote:QUOTE (notjarvis @ Oct 9 2010, 12:09 PM) To be honest lans - I was planning to intersperse links to your videos at locations they fit within the actual course.
I think I already linked your Prox lesson somewhere.
A "Training Videos" page should be added too, I'm just thinking where to put it....
Perhaps it should be a side page, sort of like the training index?
