Questions to whoever is in charge
If this Allegiance 2 thing is real, and not some half-baked hoax, you can't expect to retain this absolute control you have over the Allegiance community, can you TE? There are only a few options here (this is going under the wild and ridiculous assumption that kage is not blowing smoke up our collective ass on this 11/11/11 thing):
1. Keep the family together, but move the ownership and servers elsewhere once Allegiance 2 comes out, but the community stays intact with a sort of transition from 1 game to the other (but maybe TE stays in an administrative role? KG's posts could be considered a "job offer" of a sort)
2. Split the family, TE retains control of Allegiance, but Allegiance 2 is its own separate community; Allegiance community dies a slow death because Allegiance 2 is so awesome. Eventually it's just TE here, playing king of the castle on the original Allegiance by with some retro die hard Allegiance 1-ites
(3+ variations of 1 and 2)

Who cares if Alleg 2 is a hoax or not? If Alleg 2 is real, I expect this community will go over to Alleg2 and promptly own face until other players begin to catch up, ala the transition from Beta during the original Allegiance days.
